The creator of Maestros-of-the-guitar.com, Alastair Lewis, resides in the Republic of South Africa. Amongst the rugged hills of the Kwazulu-Natal midlands he works as a classical guitarist, dividing his time between musical composition, arranging and Classical guitar History.

Some of Alastair's other interests include Zulu linguistics, renewable energy and alternative transport-energy, vegetable gardening and cuisine.
